Ms. Kim is a Vice President and Counsel (Private Funds) in the Ares Legal Department. Prior to joining Ares in 2023, Ms. Kim was an Associate at DLA Piper LLP (US) and Jackson Walker LLP, where she focused on private investment funds, separate accounts and joint ventures, as well as the acquisition, financing and disposition of private equity, real estate and venture capital investments. Previously, Ms. Kim was a Specialist on the Legal and Compliance Team within the Private Equity Department of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Ms. Kim holds a B.A. from Swarthmore College in Asian Studies and a J.D. from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
