Ms. Waters is a Vice President in the Ares Compliance Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Ms. Waters was a Counsel in the Business Practices Group at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP, where she focused on the formation, regulation and operation of public and private investment funds, including business development companies. Ms. Waters holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from Rutgers University in Political Science and History and a J.D., cum laude, from Hofstra University School of Law. Ms. Waters is a member of the New York State and the District of Columbia Bars.
