Mr. Velchev is a Principal within Ares Enterprise Risk Management. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Mr. Velchev was an Executive Director and Head of Risk Identification at UBS, where he led the bank's Risk Identification Program. Previously, Mr. Velchev was an Assistant Vice President at JP Morgan Chase, a Manager at Blackstone and a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young, where he focused on internal audit.
