Mr. Willenbrock is a Principal in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on U.S. industrial real estate equity. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, Mr. Willenbrock was a Vice President at Black Creek Group, where he focused on corporate finance, business development and corporate strategy. Previously, he worked at Citadel as a Public Markets Investor within the Specialty Finance vertical as a part of the Global Equities Group. In addition, Mr. Willenbrock worked at J.P. Morgan in investment banking, where he focused on specialty finance and alternative asset managers within the Financial Institutions Group. He holds a B.S. from the University of Virginia in Systems and Information Engineering.
