Ms. Humphrey is a Vice President (Tax Structuring) in the Ares Legal Department. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, Ms. Humphrey was an Associate at Simpson Thacher, where she focused on tax aspects of private investment fund formation, financing transactions, corporate restructurings, partnerships and other joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Humphrey holds a B.A. from Columbia University in Political Science and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
