Ms. Butz is a Managing Director in Ares Real Estate, where she focuses on U.S. industrial real estate due diligence and dispositions. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, she was a Principal at Black Creek Group in the Real Estate Due Diligence Group, where she managed the transactions due diligence and closing processes across the company's various investment vehicles. Ms. Butz also served as an executive officer of the Women's Network at Black Creek. Previously, Ms. Butz was a consultant for numerous non-profit organizations and real-estate startup groups. In addition, she led the marketing and media relations efforts at AMB Property Corporation (now Prologis), where she focused on all branding strategies at the corporate level. Previously, Ms. Butz worked at AMB and RREEF, where she focused on underwriting and due diligence efforts. Ms. Butz holds a B.S. from the University of Colorado in Business.
