Wali Makhlouf

Mr. Makhlouf is a Principal in the Ares Finance and Accounting Department. Prior to joining Ares in 2012, Mr. Makhlouf was a Senior Performance Analyst at LaSalle Investment Management, where he focused on building attribution analysis and GIPS reporting for their REITs Focused Asset Management Group. Previously, Mr. Makhlouf was a Fund Accountant and a Performance Specialist at Western Asset Management, where he focused on managing the fund treasury function of WAMCO mutual funds and providing performance measurement solutions to different stakeholders at the firm. Mr. Makhlouf holds a B.Sc. from HEC School of Business of Tunis, in Finance and an M.Sc., with honors, from Golden Gate University in Finance. Mr. Makhlouf is a CFA® charterholder and a member of CFALA. He also holds the FRM designation.
