Mr. Jones is a Managing Director in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on European direct lending. Prior to joining Ares in 2014, Mr. Jones was an Assistant Director in the Debt Advisory and Restructuring Group at Rothschild in London, where he focused on advising private equity and corporate clients in mid and large-cap markets on their debt structuring requirements on a pan-European basis, within the sub-investment grade debt capital markets, for both live and distressed situations. Previously, Mr. Jones was an Analyst at Barclays in London, where he focused on the execution of financial sponsor-backed leveraged finance transactions across the European market. Mr. Jones holds a B.A. from Bristol University in French and Spanish and an M.Sc. from Loughborough University in Marketing and Management.
