Mr. NeSmith is a Managing Director in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on U.S. diversified real estate equity. Prior to joining Ares in 2013, Mr. NeSmith was an Analyst at AREA Property Partners, where he focused on analyzing potential real estate transactions. Previously, Mr. NeSmith was an Analyst at UBS Investment Bank, where he focused on analyzing real estate mergers and acquisitions transactions. Mr. NeSmith holds a B.S., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Birmingham-Southern College in Economics, as well as a Masters Degree, merit honours, from London School of Economics and Political Science in Accounting and Finance.
