Christopher York

Mr. York is a Partner in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on U.S. direct lending. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Mr. York was a Managing Director and Head of Life Science and Technology Finance at MidCap Financial, where he focused on senior debt financing for private and public life science companies. Previously, Mr. York was a Vice President at Merrill Lynch Capital and Silicon Valley Bank, where he focused on originating, structuring and executing senior debt investments within the life science and technology industries. Mr. York holds a B.S. from Georgetown University in Finance.
