Mr. Brodie is a Managing Director and the European Head of Compliance in the Ares Compliance Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2023, Mr. Brodie was a Director at KKR, where he served as the Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for international markets. Previously, he was a Paralegal at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he worked on a number of private equity acquisitions and financings, in particular KKR's acquisitions of Alliance Boots, Northgate Information Solutions and Pets at Home. Mr. Brodie holds an L.L.B. from the University of Leicester and earned a Commendation in the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Guildford.
