Mr. Michaelis is a Principal in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on European direct lending. Prior to joining Ares in March 2014, he worked at Deloitte as a Manager in Debt Advisory from 2009 to 2014. Mr. Michaelis holds a Masters Degree from the University of Bath in Mathematics. He is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA®) in England and Wales.
