Mr. Ricanati is a Partner in the Ares Private Equity Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2018, Mr. Ricanati was President of the FIJI Water Group, a group of privately held companies built through organic growth and acquisitions. The group consists of both consumer (FIJI Water and Justin/Landmark Wines) and industrial businesses (Neptune Shipping and Vintage Nurseries). Previously, he has held leadership roles at American Greetings Corporation, including President of the digital business, American Greetings Interactive. In addition, he spent five years at McKinsey & Company, working in both consumer and industrial businesses with a focus on marketing and sales. Mr. Ricanati began his career at Quaker Oats, where he focused on brand management. He serves on the boards of LaserAway, Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants, and Lockwood. Mr. Ricanati previously served on the board of directors for the parent entities of Farrow & Ball, Guitar Center and DevaCurl. Mr. Ricanati holds a B.A. from Princeton University in Economics and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
