Mr. Nussbaum is a Partner and Chief Information Security Officer in the Ares Technology and Information Security Department and is a member of the Ares Enterprise Risk Committee. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, Mr. Nussbaum was the Chief Information Security Officer at KKR, where he was active in deal-side advisory, as well as within the portfolio on matters of cybersecurity maturity and incident response. Previously, Mr. Nussbaum was a Senior Director of Cybersecurity at global growth equity firm General Atlantic, where he was responsible for cybersecurity across all offices and datacenters spanning ten countries, as well as supporting diligence efforts on technology related investments. Mr. Nussbaum holds a Masters degree from Brown University in Cybersecurity.
