Joan Magee-Martinez

Ms. Magee-Martinez is a Vice-President, Content Lead, in the Ares Corporate Communications Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2025, Ms. Magee-Martinez ran Magee-Martinez Productions, a boutique content and strategy consulting firm, with clients spanning financial services and entertainment companies. Previously, she was an Editor-in-Chief for UBS Wealth Management, Americas, where she oversaw public-facing multimedia content across groups and asset classes. In addition, she was a Senior Reporter at Thomson Reuters, where she covered Latin American debt, equities and restructuring. She holds a B.A. from Northeastern University in International Politics and Economics and an M.A. from New York University in Business and Economic Journalism.
