Mr. Hiller is a Principal in Ares Real Estate, where he focuses on U.S. industrial real estate debt capital markets. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, he was a Vice President of Debt Capital Markets at Black Creek Group, where he managed lender relationships and negotiated secured and unsecured debt across Black Creek Group's various U.S. funds. Previously, Mr. Hiller was an Assistant Vice President at NorthMarq Capital, where he focused on underwriting and closing real estate debt and equity deals. In addition, he was an Attorney, focusing on designing and drafting corporate structures to hold real estate assets and minimize liability to shareholders. Mr. Hiller holds a B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire in Finance, and a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Mr. Hiller is a member of the Colorado State Bar.
