Ms. Djeng is a Principal in the Ares Environmental, Social and Governance Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Ms. Djeng was the Managing Director, Portfolio Manager and ESG Specialist of Keywise Capital Management (Hong Kong) Limited, where she was managing global institutional investment mandates focusing on Greater China public equities. Additionally, she was responsible for the design and the ESG integration across the firm. Previously, she was a Junior Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Analyst at an Asia multi-strategy hedge fund, HindSight Investment Management Hong Kong, an Asian Equities Senior Investment Analyst at Pacific Century Insurance (PCI) Investment Management Hong Kong, and an Associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers Hong Kong, where she focused on Consumer and Industrial Product (CIP) Assurance, Advisory and Audit services. Ms. Djeng served as the SASB FSA Credential Subject Matter Expert Contributor and serves on the Credentialing Steering Committee of the Green Business Certification Inc (GBCI). She also served as Judge Panel Member of the Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards in 2021 and 2022. Ms. Djeng holds a B.Sc., with honors, from the University of Warwick in Economics, an M.Sc. from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in Financial Analysis and an M.B.A. (Dual Degree Program) from Tsinghua University and INSEAD Business School. Ms. Djeng earned the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing. She is a Sustainability Accounting Standards Board Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (SASB FSA) Credential holder, a Global Reporting Initiative GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, an European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies EFFAS Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), an European Financial Planning Association EFPA ESG Advisor, a GBCI Sustainability Excellence Associate (SEA) and Responsible Investment Professional Certification (RIPC) holder.
