Ms. Mercado is a Managing Director in the Ares Global Client Solutions Group, where she focuses on institutional client management in Europe. Prior to joining Ares in 2018, Ms. Mercado was an Associate Director in Nordic Institutional Sales at Barings (previously Babson Capital), where she focused on increasing and expanding relationships with regional prospects and clients. Previously, Ms. Mercado worked at Bfinance in the Nordic Institutional Business Development Group, where she assisted in building relationships with institutional investors. In addition, she worked as an Analyst at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where she focused on fund manager selection across fixed income, equity and UCITS hedge fund strategies. Ms. Mercado holds a B.A. from The University of the Arts London in Marketing and Advertising and an M.A. from University College London in Business Economics.
