Ms. Markwood is a Vice President in the Ares Global Client Solutions Group, where she focuses on strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Ms. Markwood was an Assistant Vice President in Corporate Development at Blackstone, where she focused on new business initiatives, strategic mergers and acquisitions and special projects in support of the firm as well as the firm's corporate venture arm. Previously, Ms. Markwood was an Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where she focused on investment banking coverage for the global industrials group. Ms. Markwood holds a B.S., with distinction, from the University of Virginia in Commerce.
