Michael Thomas

Mr. Thomas is a Managing Director in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on European direct lending. Prior to joining Ares in 2014, Mr. Thomas was a Partner at Purple Mountain Capital Asset Group. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Cazord & Co. and was a Principal at Park Square Capital. Mr. Thomas holds a B.A., cum laude, from Boston University in Economics and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management in Finance and Accounting.
