Managing Director
Mr. Suthivej is a Managing Director in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on Asia credit. Prior to joining Ares in 2026, Mr. Suthivej was the Executive Director at J.P. Morgan, where he led the Thailand investment banking franchise. Previously, Mr. Suthivej was a Vice President in the Investment Banking department at Credit Suisse, based in Bangkok. In addition, he was an Associated Director in the Fixed Income Currencies & Commodities at UBS AG, Hong Kong. Mr. Suthivej began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Phatra Securities. Mr. Suthivej holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Business Economics and an M.B.A. from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration in Thailand in Finance and Strategy.
