Mr. Hans is a Principal in Ares Asia, where he focuses on Asia portfolio management. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Mr. Hans was a Principal at SSG Group, where he focused on ongoing asset management of investments within the fund's portfolios in India. Previously, Mr. Hans was a President at Yes Bank, where he managed stressed and distressed assets in the infrastructure and financial services sector. In addition, Mr. Hans was Chief Manager in Structured Finance Group in India, International Corporate Banking in Toronto, Canada and Business Intelligence team at ICICI Bank Group. Mr. Hans holds a B.Eng. from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra in Electronics and Communication and an M.B.A. from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Mr. Hans is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) charterholder.
