Mr. Singhvi is a Partner in Ares Asia, where he focuses on credit. Prior to joining Ares in 2020, Mr. Singhvi was a Managing Director of the SSG Group and was instrumental in growing the firm's Asia business, including identifying opportunities, structuring investments and asset management. Previously, Mr. Singhvi was a Principal at Apollo (Mumbai, Hong Kong, NY), an Assistant Vice President in the Global Special Situations Group at Citigroup (Mumbai, Hong Kong) and a Senior Associate at Bain Capital (Mumbai). He was a founding member of Apollo and Citigroup's special situations platforms for India. He has deep experience in private equity investing (buyouts and minority deals) and the structuring of private credit transactions. In addition, Mr. Singhvi spent time in mergers and acquisitions in London. Mr. Singhvi began his career with Arthur Anderson in India in 2000. Mr. Singhvi holds an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and is a Chartered Accountant registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
