Mr. Franson is a Managing Director in Ares Infrastructure Opportunities. Prior to joining Ares in 2015, he was a Vice President at Energy Investors Funds, where he focused on a long-term asset optimizations and dispositions. Previously, he was a Vice President at the Bank of Ireland, where he focused on global project finance. In addition, he was an Assistant Vice President at General Electric, where he focused on energy financial services. He began his career as an Equity Research Analyst at Deutsche Bank. He has also served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Franson holds a Bachelor's Degree from the State University of New York Maritime College in Marine Engineering and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business.
