Sebastian Herrera

Mr. Herrera is a Vice President in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on opportunistic credit investing. Additionally, Mr. Herrera serves on the Ares Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. Prior to joining Ares in 2019, Mr. Herrera was an Analyst in the Structured Credit Group at BlackRock, where he focused on collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) tranche investing. He currently serves on the board for the parent entity of Vmo Aircraft Leasing L.P. Mr. Herrera holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College in Economics and Classical Languages.
