Mr. Wendling is a Vice President in the Ares Private Equity Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2021, Mr. Wendling was a Senior Associate at Sun Capital, where he focused on investments in mid-market companies in Europe. Previously, Mr. Wendling was an Analyst at Nomura Holdings. He currently serves on the board of directors for the parent entity of Point Vision. Mr. Wendling holds a B.Sc. from the University of Groningen in International Business and an M.Fin. from IE Business School.
