Ms. Widjaja is a Managing Director in Ares Asia, where she focuses on credit. Prior to joining Ares in 2022, Ms. Widjaja was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, where she headed the Asia distressed debt and illiquid credit trading business within Global Markets Division in Hong Kong. Previously, Ms. Widjaja was a Director with Greylock Capital Management, where she was responsible for sourcing, analyzing, executing and managing the firm's high yield and distressed debt credit investments in Asia. In addition, Ms. Widjaja held credit investment roles at Broad Peak Investment Advisers in Singapore, D.E. Shaw & Co. in Hong Kong, and held a private equity investment role at Asia Principal Opportunities Fund of Oaktree Capital in Hong Kong. Ms. Widjaja began her career in investment banking as an Investment Banking Analyst at Lehman Brothers in New York. Ms. Widjaja holds a B.Sc. from Northwestern University with a double major in Industrial Engineering and Management Science and Economics.
