Mr. Weekenborg is a Vice President in the Ares Credit Group, where he focuses on European direct lending. Prior to joining Ares in 2020, he was an Associate at NIBC Bank in the Netherlands as part of the Leveraged Finance Team that covers the Benelux, where he worked on various mid-market acquisition financing opportunities. Mr. Weekenborg holds an M.Sc. degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam in Finance and Investments.
